An Exercise for the Reader is a webcomic about things that aren't explained in the textbook. It chronicles the primarily non-academic misadventures of a group of college upperclassmen and recent graduates. The title comes from this phrase.
The author, Clara Raubertas, like the protagonist, recently earned a degree in Computer Science, lives in Cambridge, MA, and is trying to figure out how to be a grownup.
The comic is drawn with a dip fountain pen, shaded with a brush and ink, and tidied up and typeset with The Gimp. The dialogue font is OilBats by dibujado, and the title font is Sketchy Times by !Exclamachine.
The site is designed and coded by hand by CAR in emacs, and hosted by the generous agnoster.net. It features valid XHTML, valid CSS, and should be viewable in any browser. (Although if you're browsing webcomics in lynx, that's a little weird.) The RSS feed is powered by RSSPECT.
